Apparently, I hum a little tune...

...when I hit the "send" or "ok" key to email or upload a paper submission to a journal. It's involuntary, I think. I just realized I was (unconsciouly, and all alone in my office) humming this tune as I sent an email submission to the Journal of Latin American Studies.

Do you have a funny thing you do when you submit a paper?

That's just it. I'm not sure. But somehow, I must associate that song with 'getting things done.' Go figure.

And I don't really have any funny thing I do when I submit, but I do have one quirk--I think I've sent off almost all my manuscripts on a Friday. Maybe I feel like it's a nice cap to the week, maybe I like an excuse to have a few drinks to celebrate, I'm not sure.
